Who am i

I’m Andy Jonathans,

a Videographer, DJ, Rollerskater and the creative force behind 4stralay.

My love for music kicked off back in the early ’80s, deep in the breakdance and electric boogie scene. Not long after, I found my flow on rollerskates - and now I’m a OG in the Skate Scene. DJing didn’t hit until I was 25, but once I got behind the decks as The SoulBrotha, I rocked Amsterdam’s club scene for over 30 years—dropping everything from Classics to RnB, Hip-hop, House and those smooth in-betweens.

When the world stood still during COVID, I teamed up with John Willems to livestream his show Johnny’s Club. That lockdown energy didn’t fade—we brought it live to theaters, and even to Rotterdam Ahoy, with the RnB Old Skool Show. That’s when I started creating all the visuals—and my videography journey took off.

Now, 4stralay is the home where my two worlds collide: music and visuals.
And when skating blew up again on Insta and TikTok, I laced up and rolled back in as DJ Andy Jonathans, spinning at international skate events like SkateLove Barcelona and Roll on London.
